World renowned pianist, broadcaster and patron of Churchill Music!, Peter Donohoe returns to perform works by three of the greatest composers of the Victorian era.

Churchill Music! warmly welcomes internationally renowned pianist, broadcaster and Patron of Churchill Music!, Peter Donohoe. Peter returns to perform a fascinating programme illustrating the huge flowering of the arts during the period of the Industrial Revolution and the Napoleonic Wars at the beginning of the 19th Century.

Three of the greatest composers of the era; Scriabin, Sonata No 2 - gorgeously colourful and heartfelt; Ravel, Mirroirs - impressionistic fantasies; Rachmaninov, romantic and magnificent Preludes and Chopin, the most influential composer-pianist of them all, whose Polonaise - Fantasie, with its reflectiveness and ruminatory quality, had a huge impact on the style of the three later composers.

Who could possibly resist this staggeringly beautiful programme performed in the delightful setting of St. John's Church?
