Churchill Music!UK Registered Charity No 1121866
Patron: Peter Donohoe CBE

Advanced music students at Churchill Academy compete for the generous cash prize (from an anonymous donor), the opportunity to perform at a lunchtime concert at St. George’s Bristol and our ‘Audience’ and ‘Junior’ trophies.

This year we are delighted to welcome pianist, Martin Cousin as the chair of our adjudicating panel. Martin is now regarded as one of the most dynamic pianists of his generation. He appears regularly at major musical venues throughout the UK and abroad. He is also passionate about education.

Churchill’s young musicians will be in safe hands. Martin's style is relaxed and he will do his best to ensure that the young musicians can give of their best! He is joined by Alice Harper MA Cantab, strings and voice and Adrian Trapp MA Cantab, piano and keyboard. The panel’s lively, constructive adjudication gives the musicians valuable pointers for their future success.

The Raymond Hayter Song Prize is also awarded at this event.
