Patron: Peter Donohoe CBE

Joe Stilgoe, piano and vocals; Chris Hill, Bass; Ben Reynolds, Drums

The name Stilgoe is familiar to anyone who enjoys the sheer spectacle and fun side of music.

Joe and his trio provide an unforgettable and remarkable evening of musicianship, humour and entertainment. Featuring Joe's songs (featured on Radio 2 and Radio 4), plus new takes on classics from songwriters and artists as diverse as Rodgers and Hammerstein, Gerswhin, Flanders and Swan, Steve Miller, Randy Newman, and The Beach Boys, and with three part vocal harmonies on top of the stunning musical interplay, the trio has rightly earned its reputation on the world stage. Add in Joe's unique interaction and banter with the audience, this show is certainly something special, and not to be missed.

Joe has performed at the Royal Albert Hall, Ronnie Scott’s and many of the major jazz venues throughout the world. His latest album 'We Look To The Stars' was a critical and commercial success, reaching No.1 in the jazz charts. He has appeared on BBC TV and Radio in Never Mind The Buzzcocks, The Now Show, Loose Ends, The Horne Section, Parkinson's Sunday Supplement and the Alan Carr show, amongst others.
"A truly remarkable singer songwriter, not to mention outstanding piano player" Sir Michael Parkinson. "Songs at the piano don't get much sharper than this" The Observer. "Musical virtuoso" The Independent

Chris Hill is probably the busiest and most in-demand bass player in the UK. He is currently touring with Jamie Cullum.
Ben Reynolds is one of the most creative and gifted drummers in the land, currently touring with Clare Teal as well as being a founder member of award-winning hit radio show The Horne Section. A fantastic climax to Churchill Music!'s 2012/13 concert season
